April 13, 2017

On Friday, March 24, 2017, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin visited Neenah Foundry for the second time in 18 months to announce her reintroduc.t ion of the Made in USA Bill for the Water Infrastructure Redevelopment Act – WRDA.  Senator Baldwin toured Plant 2, and witnessed the KW molding line, and the transfer of iron, which really got her attention!

Senator Baldwin received a personalized Neenah Foundry manhole plaque, as a gesture of gratitude for her support of Neenah Foundry and the U.S. Municipal Casting industry.

Senator Baldwin has been an active congressional voter and verbal supporter to keep Made in USA requirements intact in the following federally funded initiatives:

  • Federal Aviation Administration -Airport Castings
  • Water Resources Development Act (WRDA)  in reference to public laws enacted by Congress to deal with various aspects of water resources: environmental, structural, navigational, flood protection, hydrology, etc.

TV crews from five stations. and local papers were on hand to document her reintroduction of this important legislation.

We thank Senator  Baldwin  for her on-going support!
